Highlights
The trail through Johnston Canyon was very busy, so be prepared to wait a while to go inside the little cave and you will have to move aside a lot to be curious to others as you pass.
Once you get through that area and are working your way to ink pots, it's a lot quieter. Keep going along the trails because it will be worth it. We were chatting with a couple that were going to turn around halfway there, but I was pretty persuasive, they ended up meeting us at the top.
Final Thoughts
On the way back, the boys were ahead of me, and Duke started looking into the woods on my left. Right beside us was a mountain goat as still as a statue. The boys had no clue they walked right by.
