Highlights
This is a gem. The moment you park your vehicle you will be in awe of the scenery. There are washrooms and picnic tables near the parking lot for convenience.
The trail takes you partially around the gorgeous lake and up the mountain to this hidden lake at the top. On our way, we met up with a couple who told us that there was a bear spotting on the lower trail, so we headed up the trail and they followed. They were informing me that this was their third time there and normally in the summer the trail is closed due to so many bears in the area. This was great to know, and I was happy that I chose to go on this day. I'm not sure if we will get another chance to see this spectacular place this year.
Once you reach the top, pull out a mat or a chair and enjoy the serenity. We ate our snack and worked our way back after a while.
At the waterfall, we sat and enjoyed the sounds and the sun. After some time of restoring our peace, we worked our way back to the car. Of course, we made sure the trail was better than we were when we arrived by picking up garbage, lost hats, and poop bags. We took a bit more time at the picnic table enjoying the view before heading home.

Final Thoughts
What we took with us on this hike: be bear aware. Be ready to take your time and spend many hours there. Enjoy chatting with new friends you will meet along the way, they may have information that will be helpful. Always pick something up along the trail to help keep the places we visit looking great!
