Highlights
Welcome to our first hike, in -34 weather! We brought snowshoes and were ready for the hike ahead, the frosted branches made it feel magical.
Our youngest was struggling with the distance, but pulled through and it was a great start for him.
It was a lot colder than we expected! Duke, our 10-year-old Lab/Terrier cross, was feeling the cold and we were glad we brought the puppy tootsie booties🤣
Not only was Duke cold, but we were as well, even with all our gear on! Any bit of hair exposed was frozen.
Mom was cracking up pretty hard watching Dad navigate in his snowshoes, he was struggling and we all had a great laugh.
Final Thoughts
What is wonderful about West Bragg Creek Provincial Recreation Area is there are so many trails to explore! This is one of them and should be added to your trail bucket list.
